Beginner’s Guide to Making Digital Rent Payments
If you’re used to paying your rent with a check in person or with cash via MoneyGram, your standard method of payment may not be available to you due to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Because of this, RentPayment wants to ensure that you have a comprehensive guide to making online payments. We hope to make your experience with us as smooth as possible and to answer as many questions up front as we can.
Resident Guide to Getting Started
If you need to adjust how you pay rent, you’ve come to the right place. To get started, you might need to create an account (if you haven’t already). We strive to make it a straightforward process, but just in case, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to help walk you through it. If you already have an account with RentPayment, skip to Step Two to learn how you can add another form of payment.
1. Visit RentPayment.com or Download the Mobile App
The following steps might look different depending on your internet browser and property
management company’s settings. You might need to contact your property or leasing
office for an account code, which may also be referred to as your “Resident ID” or “Tenant Code (T-code)”.
2. Select “New to RentPayment” and set up an account
Fill in all the required fields, select your property, and agree to the privacy policies. Press “Save” and “Continue” to proceed.
3. Add a payment method and pay your rent
Select which payment method you wish to use. You may have the option to enter a Credit Card, Debit Card, eCheck, or a combination of the three. Click the appropriate tab to find the account form you wish to use. Enter your account information. After filling in your information, click “Save”.
Now you’re set up to pay rent online without breaking quarantine. The RentPayment Team hopes you stay safe and healthy during this trying time. We’re all in this together!
